Things I learnt designing socks!

It turns out that it takes ages to design the simplest of sock patterns – not least because I’m still learning how to use the software!  It also takes as long again to design the cardboard wrap for the socks to be packaged in, largely because you can say whatever you like and no one knows what that should be!  Questions raised: do we have to use standard sock sizes - wouldn’t dainty or clodhopper do just as well?  Which way up should the logo go – for the sock wearer to read or for the sock admirer to read? ...

Our prettie stickies...

We just received our first 1000 stickers that we like to include in our packaging.  They are based on the pritygrity logo filled with the global warming stripes. https://showyourstripes.info/ Not only do we love the look of our stickers, they’re the most sustainable that we can find.  They’re 95% by-product of sugar cane (sweet!), 5% hemp/linen, and are 100% compostable.  Being biodegradable they aren’t quite as robust as standard (non-biodegradable) vinyl stickers but that’s the point really. We have a few on our van and bikes, and they’re doing well so far, being resistant to scratches and splashproof, but they’ll...
