It turns out that it takes ages to design the simplest of sock patterns – not least because I’m still learning how to use the software! It also takes as long again to design the cardboard wrap for the socks to be packaged in, largely because you can say whatever you like and no one knows what that should be!
Questions raised: do we have to use standard sock sizes - wouldn’t dainty or clodhopper do just as well? Which way up should the logo go – for the sock wearer to read or for the sock admirer to read? Should the Icon go on the front of the socks to be seen by the rider when putting on their shoes, or on the back to be seen when completing an overtaking manoeuvre out on a ride?
Take a look and see what I actually decided to do in the end!
